Featured Literary Journal: Bellingham Review

Established in 1977 in affiliation with the English Department and the Creative Writing Program at Western Washington University, the Bellingham Review has earned an excellent reputation for its poems, stories, essays, and photographs. The mission of this journal is to publish “literature of palpable quality: poems, stories, and essays so beguiling they invite us to touch their essence.” And this palpable quality comes from both established and emerging writers from all over the world.

The Bellingham Review is published once a year in the spring, with a subscription cost of $12.00 per year or $20.00 for two years. Selected material is available on the web site with permission from the authors.

Submissions
The general submissions period is between September 15 and December 15. (Material received outside of those dates will be returned unread.) And the Bellingham Review does not currently accept e-mail submissions. Poems, stories, and essays are welcome, with no restrictions on form or subject matter. Prose submissions should be under 9,000 words. Poetry submissions should be 3–5 poems.
