Entering its nineteenth year of publication, Glimmer Train Stories is still edited by a pair of sisters in Portland, Oregon. Each issue features eight to twelve short stories by luminaries and fresh new voices, as well as an in-depth interview with a writer, and a regular column by Sara Whyatt (of PEN’s International Writers-in-Prison Committee) that brings attention to detained writers worldwide.
Glimmer Train Stories is published quarterly, a single issue costing $12.00, a one-year subscription $36.00, and a two-year subscription $72.00.
